LCP Patrol Chronicles: Wednesday Night Edition!

Local Community Patrol embarked on a nighttime patrol, covering the stretch from Avenue U, East 16th Street to Coney Island. After our patrol, we headed straight to the 61st Precinct's community council meeting.

Emergency Intervention on East 14th Street! On Wednesday, we swiftly responded to a distress call from East 14th Street. A big thank you to the 61st Precinct for their rapid response, helping resolve issues with an intruder and a dog in the backyard, garage, and cashier area.

In a harmonious blend of languages, our LCP members patrolled Neck Road today, breaking communication barriers with residents in English, Chinese, Russian, and Spanish. With multilingual brochures, we shared the essence of community safety. Our journey extended to PS 206, where we stood vigilant during school dismissal, intervening to stop bullying. Grateful for the positive feedback from the school principal. Together, we bridge gaps and ensure a safer community!

We welcomed a new member and our newly equipped radios allowed us to efficiently divide into two teams, ensuring effective coverage. We assisted a store facing issues by promptly reporting it to the police.
